Airey Miller Presents at City Hall on Unlocking Small Sites for New Homes in London

Today, Airey Miller was proud to take part in a key event at City Hall, supporting the Greater London Authority’s (GLA) Small Sites Small Builders programme — an initiative aimed at unlocking small and underused sites across the capital for much-needed housing.

Our Partner, Ed Richards, presented alongside partners from PRD and the GLA, sharing insights on how small sites can be brought forward through innovative planning, design, and delivery approaches. The session focused on enabling landowners and supporting small and medium-sized builders to play a bigger role in London’s housing future.

The event brought together a range of stakeholders — including local authorities, developers, architects, housing associations, and policymakers — all committed to working together to meet the capital’s housing needs through scalable and collaborative strategies.

We are delighted to be supporting the GLA on this important programme and look forward to continuing our work to bring more small sites into development across London.

About the Programme

The Small Sites Small Builders programme is part of the Mayor of London’s wider efforts to diversify the housing market and make better use of land. Airey Miller is working in partnership with PRD and the GLA to help identify opportunities and deliver homes that meet the needs of communities across the city.
