Hatcham Road and Ilderton Road is a mixed use scheme with 86 dwellings and commercial space to the ground floor.
We are appointed as Employer’s Agents to assist in the delivery of a land and build Package Deal through a landowner and contractor.
We reviewed the proposals and through our risk management process and design review, we were able to highlight the key risks and potential opportunities in the scheme and negotiate these through the contract documents.
Design risk from Planning issue drawings was assessed by us and the employer’s requirements were updated to reflect the inherent design risks, with the residual risks clearly highlighted.
We appraised the build costs and worked with the employer to optimise their viability. Our cost consultancy robustly reviewed the build costs and a realistic price was negotiated.
Stringent Purchase and build contract timescales needed to be met, we assisted all parties to ensure board approvals were achieved along with reporting on the cost and quality and programme aspects of the scheme to ensure viability and to meet the employer requirements in terms of programme and Quality.
