Airey Miller Extends Remit to England’s Second City.

10 May 2017

We are delighted to announce our success in being awarded the role of Independent Certifier for Park Central Zone 11 in Birmingham, an exciting 335 unit Crest Nicholson regeneration development.

Our involvement in this scheme, led by Associate Director Iain Stevens, cements Airey Miller’s capacity to deliver our consultancy expertise and resources beyond London and the Home Counties into Birmingham and other major hubs. As our group continues to grow we are excited to extend our reach to a variety of schemes across the region and to lend our full range of construction and property services.

Park Central Zone 11 is an animated, mixed-use scheme on a bustling inner-city site. The design ethos derives a narrative of diversity and harmony, whilst creating a classic, confident tall building. The residential sits on top of a significant retail centre with associated car-parking whilst the central area at podium level creates a new public garden accessed from the upper level. The entire development is conceived as a single structure, yet deliverable in phases that will include 335 residential units and 85,000 sq ft of retail space. The development by Crest Nicholson, on the corner of Bristol Street and Lee Bank Middleway, is the final phase of the Park Central housing complex.

The development of more housing in the City Centre has been understandably welcomed by Birmingham and we look to continue our work in the city.
