With a 3,500 council house building programme focusing on family housing, with a range of partnership schemes to bring forward and our enabling role to support the private development sector and housing associations to develop, quality new homes in the borough we are in development for the long term. We are looking for a wide-range of enthusiastic, focused new members to join our teams to lead and support projects including of traditional and MMC construction types. 

​

As part of the Place Department new team members will have the chance to work across and with colleagues in strategic planning bringing forward a new local plan, with the Meridian Water team our large 10,000 home brownfield development programme and with colleagues working on the wider development of councils sites. 

​

This new restructure of the team comes at a time where Enfield are  collaborating even more with residents and new businesses and invest in their in-house development and regeneration expertise, as well as work together with other boroughs and London Councils on the skills agenda.

A well-connected town, easily accessible by rail with direct connections into and out of London, excellent bus links and improvement of cycle paths part of the Healthy Streets and cycle Enfield Programme.

 

A third of the borough being designated as green belt accommodating ancient woodlands and parks attracting a diversity of activity. More than 100km of water courses including canals, lakes and the River Lee running through the borough.

 

One of the youngest and most diverse boroughs in London strategically located in the UK Enfield Innovation Corridor Enfield Town and Meridian Water to name but a few of our great places will be major urban foci of high-quality growth, accommodating a range of employment, retail, leisure, housing, community and cultural uses and enhanced public realm to support contributing to the many vibrant centres in the Borough.
