Chelsea Bridge Wharf, Battersea, SW8

Jointly agreeing a build agreement in place of a JCT contract.

Airey Miller collaborated closely with the developer to create a standard development agreement and specification document that met HCA requirements for the affordable element of this award winning project.

The scheme at Chelsea Bridge Wharf required us to draw upon our expertise in the resolution of the build part of the development agreement in support of our client’s solicitors. In doing so we recognised the commercial reality of the opportunity and the desire of both client and developer to work together in the future. We were also required to negotiate significant enhancements to the developer’s specification for such a project maximising values for both parties.
